.... We bought this baby, born in 1967, in Auburn just this morning and have been cruising around ever since. Needless to say, there's a very giddy 51 year old at our house today. He has wanted one of these since he was 9 years old!
1967 was a very good year. It was the year I passed the California Bar and the year we purchased the home on Gran Via with walnut trees and Karin Hansen next door. David was 6, John 5 and Cathi age 3. It was a year that many more good memories started for our family.
Aim- That Porsche was long gone by 1977, when you were born. I think dad only had it like two years at most :-) It was a really little one-- like a two seater.
That's right Ami. The rear seat was very tiny so the whole family couldn't fit. It was not a practical buy---but it was fun for awhile. The design was like a turtle shell. It was fast and an early middle-age passion. I wouldn't mind have it now though.

It was a good year indeed! I also remember you buying a sporty little green Porshe around 1967 or 68? Remember that Porshe?
Dad owned a Porsche??? How did I not know this?
In addition to all the other good stuff in 1967, it was also the best year for GTOs, bar none. Excellent choice Brad.
